The Saint Paul Police Department is running a “Virtual Block Club”. It is an e-mail list that provides two-way communications between the police and the community. The police department sends out crime alerts, crime prevention information, wanted persons bulletins, and other valuable information. The public can respond to these messages or send their own messages to the e-mail list. Information from the public will be forwarded to the proper police department unit and can be forwarded to the whole list when appropriate.
The list can be used to announce block club meetings, important community events, and to share information about what is going on in your neighborhood. Businesses can share alerts of theft, fraud, and forgery. This service is free to anyone who has e-mail.
